"Blazin" Blake Rogers

Blake started racing at the age of 8 years old in the Mini Dwarf series in 2006/2007. Blake won 3 championships while racing this series for 3 years during 2007 * 2008 * 2009 @ Imperial Valley Speedway. His first year of racing this division he was also rookie of the year. In 2010 Blake started racing in the Bandolero Division when he was 12 years old mostly @ Lake Havasu City, Arizona (Highway 95 Speedway) and also @ Blythe, California (I-10 Speedway). During the 2010/2011 season Blake earned Championships @ Highway 95 Speedway & also walked away with the Sam Nichol's River Series Championship which is the 2 tracks combined points.

During the 2010/2011 season Blake raced 18 races and won 6 of them and @ Lake Havasu & Blythe tracks Blake never finished lower than 3rd place.

For the 2011/2012 season it was a really rough start, constant break downs or getting involved in wrecks. Blake came back strong towards then end of the season and it looked like his luck had changed with 2 wins. At the end of the season Blake finished in 3rd place at Lake Havasu's Highway 95 Speedway & 4th place Blythe's I-10 Speedway, and 3rd place for the Sam Nichols River Series (which is combined points for both tracks)

For 2012/2013 season Blake won all trophy dashes and main event races in the Bandolero division at Havasu 95 Speedway & Blythe's Lucas oil I-10 speedway. 2013 proved to be a great season for Blake as he also set a new track record @ Havasu 95 Speedway in the Bandolero division with a time of 16.698. Blake earned 2 championships for a total of 7 championships thus far in his racing career.

For the 2013/2014 Season, Blake did well racing in the Legend Division for the first time. Blake walked away with a Championship at Havasu 95 Speedway finishing in 1st place. Adding this Championship to his belt, Blake has accomplished winning a total of 8 Championships at only 16 years of age! Blake also raced at Blythe's I-10 Speedway and finished in 5th place. Driving in the Legend Division was a great stepping stone to improve speed, handling, and throttle control.

For the upcoming 2014/2015 Season, Blake will be stepping into a Modified car and racing in the Lucas Oil Modified Series. This is a traveling circuit including 4 states (Arizona, California, Nevada, & Utah). Blake will be racing against top notch drivers from all over the country. This is a big step up to the next level of racing and Blake can always use any help with sponsorship to continue his racing career. Please click here to see Sponsorship Opportunity. The advertising potential for any company is extraordinary with all 10 races being televised on MAVtv. Blake is one of the youngest competitors in the Lucas Oil Modified Series at only 16 years of age. He is anxious to be a rookie in this series and will be competing in the newly added DJ Safety Rookie Of The Year Program. Blake is excited to learn the ins/outs of the Modified Series and learn how to handle a bigger car, have a whole lot more horse power, and use his knowledge, skill, and talents to continue to make his way to the top!

For the current 2015/2016 Season, Blake is in his 2nd full season racing in the Lucas Oil Modified Series. Last year he finished the point standings in 16th place and was a contender for the Rookie of the Year Program presented by DJ Safety. Blake’s first full season as a modified driver was a huge learning curve for himself and his crew as they were both learning the ins/outs of the car. Blake was pleased with his almost top 15th place finish as a rookie and looks forward to getting more seat time and hopefully continuing to improve his point standings. Blake will have more changes coming his way this year with graduating high school in May 2016 and will be heading off to college in August to attend Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he earned a scholastic Lumberjack Scholarship and plans to study computer information systems. Blake enjoys being a mentor for his brother, Brock Rogers (RocketBrock.org), who is also a racer and drives the #6 in the Bandolero division. Thank you to our sponsors, family, and friends for your continued support!

For the 2016 season I finished 13th in points. I only had one DNF of the ten races and did fairly well in my second full season in the Lucas Oil Modified Series. I had one top 10 finish this season which was my first top ten of my career in this series. I want to thank all my sponsors for their support this season because without them I wouldn't be racing. For the 2017 season I am looking forward to running the EFI system in our race car which is electronic fuel injection. It will be a big stepping stone for our race team and hopefully will lead us to success during the 2017 season. It is going to be a very busy year for me as I am starting my second semester of college at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ and will be racing throughout the year.
